It seems like a comedy but i'm not sure how this could end well, unless they pull some kind of magical BS or just don't write an ending.
The cliche ending for this scenario, would be for her to be in a coma or something, but they claimed she was definitely dead so who knows.

Not sure if I'll follow because the setup seems too depressing for me to read as a comedy, but not serious enough to read as a drama/tragedy.
