I know the artist changed after chapter 20 and while the art does look cleaner, it feels a lot more generic.

The art is definitely not bad, but the vibe is different. I had to check the previous chapter to tell what series this chapter is from. That said, an artist change could easily result in something much worse, so better this than an axe/complete reboot.

Yeah, just acknowledge that you share a name with the princess, and no one will think that's actually you. It's kind of how some actors "cosplay" as themselves or their most famous roles and no one recognises them.

She looks way to excited to be involved in violence. She get a plus from me.

I don't like how Kyunei looks at all, and Mikage's hair is way too straight and orderly.

That's a good and deserved hair and ear ruffle.

I like how smug Kyunei looks in this chapter.

But I do miss the previous art style. While more cartoonish(?, or less realistic?), it has better, distinct expressions while the new one is more generic and the funny faces were kinda forced. Although, this is still the first chapter of the new artist so dunno if it'll improve later on.

I have to agree the new art looks much cleaner but generic. The “grunge” of the old-style had more personality, so It’ll take some getting used to.

The heaviest weight is the MC’s new (semi-baby) face doesn’t really match his..I guess..stature(?) personality(?) character(?) ya know? The old style: one look and you could tell the MC is a (loveable) Little-Shit. The new style: one look and I see generic face #49138A2. Again probably just gonna take some growing pains to get used to the new look.
