Very abrupt ending, probably got told literally in the middle of making this chapter that there wasn't going to be a volume 3. The suddenly panty shots were probably intended as a last ditch effort but it was all for naught

which doesn't actually happen in the webnovel as well.
It's basically a pretty accurate "manganization" of the first novel volume.
But it either just didn't sell enough or never was meant for a longer time, introducing the novel to more people to get them to read it.

what a shame. It was very fun because of the goofiness. This is how it should be done with people who enjoy getting to another world and not these creepy otaku way some mc act. You can be a fan of fantasy stuff without being a creep. It was really funny how the were excited about the dwarf.
