I only read the Web Novel, but I'm pretty sure the three undergo bridal training of some kind there too. I fully remember the 'Hero' going off on his own redemption quest alone.

I don't remember the end goal of said Bridal training to be MC's brides, just that they weren't left to hang.

So, according to this chapter, the moms simply did not teach their daughters any domestic or life skills, and only focused on training them in combat and adventuring; despite the fact that the moms were all retired and living domestic lives themselves.
What the actual hell? These MILFS clearly failed at being MOTHERS to their CHILDREN. The daughters aren't blameless, nor are the bum-ass ex-husbands, but still. Genuinely insane work. Ceres is lucky he probably can't have children anymore.
At least the milfs recognized their failure here at the end of the chapter.

I understand why people were blaming the mothers for not parenting their daughters properly that they have to do this last chapter but the still treated Ceres essentially like a slave the entire time and then waited until his fiance had cheated on him with Zect so they could kick him out. That excuse only holds water for their lack of wife skills, they have fathers that also could have parented them and it doesn't excuse the way they treated Ceres nor does it excuse them trying to treat Ceres like a piggy bank when they failed as a hero party. They deserve MUCH worse than what they're getting imho.

I think from the context of this chapters, potions are in fact not very useful on an adventure, and the mothers learned how to cook while adventuring so they assumed their kids would be capable of doing the same.
