Also, they probably figured Ceres was capable enough to compensate for the ijits. Focusing on survival would seem more important too.

People forget how the mothers were treated/ignored while they worked their asses off, and you have a point about how teens are and yet Ceres doesn't act anything like them despite being the same age as those teens, so that behavior is on them


How are people gonna expect these mothers to teach their kids anything when the kids didn't give a single fuck about what the mothers had to go thru or say to them? That blame actually belongs to the fathers and how society functions in their world

This horrible disease is characterized by the inability to draw any other face except the same one... over and over again, see fig. A below. Currently there is no cure, but through a regular treatment of "getting gud" and "Learning to draw better, forehead" it can be successful controlled. If not treated in the early stages, it leads to the author/artist to make erratic changes in their content... like inserting a miscarriage arc into their funny ha-ha webcomic about video games.

Seems like they're being given a slight redemption, assuming they succeed in their bridal training, to most likely end up as Ceres' step kids - not wives. Though we'll see.

Personally, that feels more appropriate for it MCs kindness and the daughters' trauma/repentance shown so far.
