"I didn't actually directly say that thing!" (I just heavily implied it)
Sigh.
"The real slavers", for all intents and purposes,
are the Democrats. The purpose of bringing in as many 3rd world migrants as possible (other than to get them to vote for them) is to flood the labour market, to have people work in the worst conditions for the lowest possible wage with the fewest benefits because there's no other choices, which is slavery in all but name. The argument that always gets made is "If we send them back, who will clean our toilets and pick our fruit?", and the answer to that is the same as it was hundreds of years ago: We can pick our own damn cotton.
You and others are free to not like slavery, I don't think anybody here actually likes slavery, but this is a fictional cartoon in a fantasy setting with drawings of people who do not exist. Having a moral crisis over what is effectively a game of make believe is cringey as fuck, it's like going on a pirate themed ride at a theme park and then clutching your pearls because pirates used to kill people, perhaps if the scenery makes you angry you should simply go find something else to ride? Just a thought, there's plenty of other stuff to read.
By the way, I've made no post about historical accuracy, the only thing in that vein I've done is challenge somebody on their beliefs, because I don't think they believe in reality.
