Guess that spoiler makes some sense - it's a gap in culture/logic between the MC/Reader's norms from IRL and the locals of this Isekai world.
It definitely has some holes if you think too hard about it though lol.

ppl are always missing the things that Shizuko already said XD, before she was enslaved she already said that all of the girls are living a loveless marriage, which is common after the 20s+ in this world.

Rather than not feeling romantic attraction any more, they never felt any romantic attraction towards each other. They got together because they're friends and they had to keep the village population up but neither of them actually viewed the other romantically.

Nah, not feeling this one. MC has no reason to agree to this. Even if they are having marriage problems, MC doesn't know this yet and thus shouldn't have even considered this. If they divorce, it's all fair game. But until then, stay out of it. Shizuko herself should know better than to suggest something like this, too.
I guess being in older time and a small village night visits kind of make sense. Lol.
I'm sure there will be some sort of reason given to justify it as well.
