You know what you are getting into when you read Redo of Healer for example. The mc there is a villain and the author does not try to make excuses for it.

What bothers me here in this story is how the author does not have the balls to make the protag a villain to match his terrible deeds. He does far worse things later on in the novels, like

Yet the author still tries to make us think the mc is a "hero" after all the things he does.

I just want the author to not be such a pussy and admit the mc is not the good guy he says he is.

Even here the MC seems more than willing to break up their marriage as long as the wife was in to it, regardless of his “brother” gave his blessing.

I have read far enough ahead to know that the story will bend over backwards to justify MC collecting every married wife in existence, but even then he still comes off as scum.
