As I understand, the prey law applies to humans as prey, not just anyone, and the fact that he hadn't actually planned to hunt her but just kinda happened across her makes her not prey. Idk the logic is pretty flimsy

Y'all are forgetting that Miho is from the "enemy side" in the middle of a medieval race war. She has no rights, she is less than a pet as far demons and demon law is concerned. Shiva cares about her but that doesn't mean he can just skip due process for this criminal stealing what is essentially another dude's cat. When he failed to uphold his oath, that's when shit got serious.
In other words Miho is not people to the demons, with the exception of lizardboy and papa elf, maybe the dwarf and the king, but definitely not to demon law.
I thus declare Author-san is coherent.

Sorry for being radio silent so long. I've had a lot going on on the last two months. Health problems, fiancée moving in, going around for documents and changing jobs. Unfortunately i will not be able to continue with any projects anymore. Hope someone will be able to take this series and give it the quality it deserves.
