I mean, during the fight he deff connected the dots. It's why he knew right away he couldn't win (but still tried anyway just to get a hit on him for Happiness' sake) and was about to get pretty pissed seeing him tear off his wing and horn b/c he was like "Wait, if that hurts... DID YOU HURT MY WOMAN MORE THAN I ALREADY THOUGHT?!"

Based on Raws of the Web Novel it is not long until main couple also has progression.
Current chapter of manga correspond to 134 and 135 of the Web Novel, and based on what I saw Yuuki will make another attempt in chapter 150.
So I guess we're 5-7 manga chapters away from possible progression of the main couple.

Honestly no idea. I didn't spoil much, just checked the raws briefly to understand if the whole stalemate between the main couple would be forever, or there will be some progress.
When I understood that there will be some progress, I stopped browsing through raws and am waiting for the TL to catch up.

tbh, I was here mainly for Happiness so I'm 100% fine with that and consider this the "true ending" of the manga. Everything after this is just an "After Story" for other characters.

Honestly, if it wasn't for Youki, they wouldn't make any progress at all. It might be forced, but with those two "bird brains", they wouldn't interact with each other until both were 6ft under from age...

Youki is not going to change. Cecilia just has to accept it. It's not like he would have any bad intention, so it's not unreasonable.

Since much of his trouble stems from chronic lack of wisdom, I think he will eventually grow wiser. I doubt he would get on Cecilia's level, but at least enough to not cause her too much trouble.

What trouble? He steadily keeps boredom far, far away from her. She's a daughter of a noble family and a temple saint, so her life normally might be lacking excitement, now that the demon king has been defeated. With someone as witless as Youki courting her, no such worries.
