I am looking forward to the author's justification for The Three not just fucking off to some remote place with their husband, or just going "or what?" to any demands that they marry anyone who isn't Rio.
Because yeah. They could just reset the leadership of the kingdom like they're fetching the morning paper, so the fact they're doing things "by the book" seems....well, very honorable of them.

I can personally guess that thumbing their noses at the king/rule of law would set a bad precedent, so I would buy that not being their way of doing things. But it's not like they could be realistically forced to marry anyone they don't want to, even in the face of politics or foreign relations or something. So I just want to see what the author uses to justify this story going the direction I think it is (Rio seeking to prove himself worthy to everyone, including himself).

they said it at the end of the chapter - Rin has to "become a noble" so he can be recognized and thus marry The Three.

And you can bet he'll have to fend off a buncha noble asshole suitors who're after the power of the Hero Party, plus foreign figures of royalty potentially, and generally will have to prove he's worthy of marrying them, and also come into his own in terms of self-esteem (since he feels weak compared to them, to the point he was kicked from their party as part of the premise).

oohhhkay, so I guess the "meat" of the story will be Jin having to effectively "grow & prove" himself as worthy of marrying all three. I suspect they won't be allowed to help him (because....I mean, they sent off the DL like he was a sidequest from before you even leave the starter town), so they'll probably provide moral support (and sexy hijinx) while he's running around doing quests and growing stronger to gain the relevant titles and status and thus earn his right to marry them all.

That should make for an entertaining series.
