The sponsor guy seems fishy.
Seems good with him. But truth is the reason he asked is because that IS going to happen! Turns out on MC old team side the Black Dragon incident was a humiliation to their sponsor and he's arranging a fight between the Jackass and MC to try and get creditability back for the jerkass. Unlike Orun explanation, Oliver is still running on "old information" (which is since he beat Orun in their practice fights before, he can do it again) so what the Sponsor is saying about that is the Duel is being structured around Melee! He's basically warning Orun that a dual IS INCOMING so he isn't caught off guard, seeing if Orun could win it. Orun gave a detailed confirmation that he can , especially on why he lost against Oliver in the past!
This is mostly showing Orun progression compared to Oliver who is still stuck in the past. Oliver can't adjust, even the replacement and defamement of Orun was mostly doing what he thought best, however his blindness to Orun being the best buffer they had showing he's too ambitious to his goal that he's blind to anything that doesn't fit. Hence his caught by surprise when getting a well renowned Buffer to replace Orun backfired cause he was TOO QUICK to think the woman was better then Orun and learning the hard way expecting results when this is HER FIRST RUN WITH THE MORONS was very stupid, more so defaming Orun by making kicking him out public which as healer girl noted assures their will be no reconciliation. Ironically other then her and Oliver, The other two morons actually aren't that good and it was Orun keeping them good, but they let his buffs go to their head, especially the Tank who shown he should NEVER be anywhere near savings as his first thought is to spend irresponsible as he was all for splurging the team finances when they discovered what Orun had saved even accusing Orun of embezzlement for hiding them cause he wa projecting what HE would have done! As said other then the Healer and Oliver, The other two were the weak links, not Orun, Oliver just let his ego and ambitions get the better of him that he kicked out the WRONG person. But it's too late to regret and kicking the two now after clowning himself with the interview and the contradiction means the only chance to fix this he sees now is to defeat Orun publicly as it would pass the hot potato onto the rabbits who hired Orun (it would make his dragon victory look like an overexageratted fluke. Hence the dual) though if he loses it and mixing in both the interview "exposure" and the Dragon incident it will expose HIM as the fraud. Hence the foolishness in escalating by what he did with that interview!. He's great a digging holes
