I always give the groups the benefit of a doubt, in particular since splitting chapters is so common with publishers nowdays. Sure, there are groups that split chapters, but there are most likely better reasons for them doing that than I have to complain about. And honestly, as long as I eventually get to read the story, what do I care?

I'm guessing there exists some kind of beetle, common in the area, with an unknown(except to the MC) ability that absorbs the negative energy from demons. He will have to control 1000s of them to drain the demon completely. All of the other characters will voice their amazement at how wonderful he is. Once the demon's power has been drained, only a cute demon girl will remain, hungry for a contract with our amazing and yet still so humble MC.
