It's funny how I've read so many stories with this EXACT same theme, but I just never get tired of it. So far, nothing new here. Actually, I think the only new thing is that the protagonist has the power to unlock abilities. There's even another manga (A-Rank Party wo Ridatsu shita Ore wa, Moto Oshiego-tachi to Meikyuu Shinbu wo Mezasu) where the protagonist gets kicked out of the party (well, technically, he left because they didn't want to increase his pay) and then he runs into his former students who invite him to join their party. And that manga even has a female beastman named Nene. Crazy, right?

Man this is worse than McD. How could he mistake affection for despise? He literally was hugged with genuine affection and the other guy was ignored. Even their conversation with "Hero" was that of annoyance.
It's like author competed with other authors: Create the dumbest/densest MF in the universe....

So this one has the classic cliche premise BUT I like the character design of the new girl in his party and I HAVE to invest until we see the one who betrayed him get retribution. I also want to see the party member reactions to his being kicked out.

Sadly, it’s been 6 months so I’m not sure if it is coming but, I would have liked to see how this would have developed.

Nevermind, she actually is a slave. I guess that one's on the author for not explaining that before having the hero randomly refer to her as one in his mind.

Is this supposed to be "Mei and Nene despise you too", Or was it meant to be something more along the lines of "Mei and Nene... those two despise you"?

If it weren't for the following bubble, I could see it being something along the lines of "Mei and Nene, despite those two...", but in context that doesn't really make a lot of sense.

I just checked their site and the answer's no. They translated one chapter then dropped it, apparently. A shame too, because I always want more mangas with cute catgirls in them. Hopefully someone else picks this up at some point.
