Grouping up multiple high-level adventurer parties is always a risky idea due to abundance of people who are justifiably proud of themselves. Only a little less risky when there is somebody with reputation and experience to make a good leader.

Any ordinary group of adventurers would consider it a good pace. Even if monsters at low levels are weaker than at the bottom.

A minor touch that I like is that Lloyds humility is often showed as justified. But can also be seen as him lacking self confidence by his party members.
And what's wild is both perspectives are absolutely correct. He's aware he's not at the top yet and has much more distance to go and this is revealed by the characters like Shino and Lilith. But it's also true that he is powerful and should be aware of his own strengths for his own good.

They definitely should have spoken about the depth, even if not being believed, it would make the "leader" reconsider their value...maybe? This is actually similar to Rudy from mushoku tensei as he gets a similar opinion after HE gets smashed by a world power.

90% sure this was a translation error at page 27. they were probably saying they reached the 13th floor

i mean, it just woldn't make sense any other way. they expected the dungeon to be around 10 floors and only after going past that number it'd be normal for them to feel concerned (ofc except for the MC party who knew the dungeon wold be far deeper)
