Is this were we find out Cain does healing magic?
Please yes this.

Especially if it requires sacrificing the King to the Elder Gods.

This will either end with a one shot to the king or like when Flio destroys the jinn when Fenrys gets "killed". Eve will recover and stop his rampage.

If u wanna know :v (this will cover the next 2 chaps)
Alice will do the exposition that if Eve can get enough mana, her self-recovery should activate.
However normally after one absorbs mana in the air, it adapts to the body and become 'their mana'.
And receiving someone else's mana would just cause rejection.

So in order to use mana to heal Eve, they'd need to revert it to the more natural state that can be absorbed.

Which she figured that she could do with her transforming equipment thing.

However Alice lacks the mana to fully pull through, and even with Sophia to help it still wasn't enough.
So it's with Cain's extra output that the three will push through

Meanwhile after brawling it out with the king for a bit, Lloyd finally figured out how to destroy the king's mana giant.
Which, follow the example of Alice naming her equipment's different forms, he decided to name this move:
Dragon's Bite/Biting Dragon (though he does it with his hand)

So, am i sadly correct to assume it would end around after this arc is done? because the author is pulling too many endgame plot at once
People have been saying this since a few chapters into this arc and I still don't think so, since chapter 36 called this the "first long arc" although sure, Axe-kun can strike at any time.
P.s. On the other hand there seem to be only two LN volumes and on the publisher's site there hasn't been another addition to the manga since chapter 50 on 8/12 (which isn't available for free yet). :questionblob:

And the next raw chapter should had been released already... So probably one more week for suspense factor.

(and yeah... I'm F5ing raw sites like crazy just in case)

Considering all the trump cards of the King, I can't understand why he tried to mess with Loyd. It's just plain stupid to antagonize the Hero when he himself possesses many "tools" to keep him in check: He had the sister for hostage and under his control, the "ultimate hero". So why did he still had to be afraid of the hero?
He already exiled him far from him.

This king is so cartoonishly evil that it's bringing the story down, I feel. When Eve was demanding they chase him, I thought Lloyd was going to make a comment about how they should just leave, because the people need a king to look after them. Attacking the king in front of the people would make them look like the bad guys, even though the king has done bad things. But now the king just ramps it up to 11, and all I can wonder is how this kingdom has survived for so long, when the king seems to devote all his resources to building ever more powerful superweapons. Does he even look after his people at all? Maybe the kingdom really would be better off without this single-minded paranoid power-hungry idiot.

My king, did you forget why you send MC to defeat Demonlord, the supposed strongest being in the world in the 1st place? Because you can't do it yourself and now you are trying to defeat the only guy who can defeat that Demonlord? And now considering what have you done to his beloved wife.....you really are fked up, my king.

I google tl'd the synopses of both volumes, and volume 2's synopsis is about Sophia going to school in the nearby town, which obviously hasn't happened here yet, so I'm assuming this means this arc was the climax of volume 1.

Ahh man, now the king went from pathetic goofball villain to someone who seriously needs to die.

And we had such a good thing going here.
