Please yes this.Is this were we find out Cain does healing magic?
Especially if it requires sacrificing the King to the Elder Gods.

People have been saying this since a few chapters into this arc and I still don't think so, since chapter 36 called this the "first long arc" although sure, Axe-kun can strike at any time. So, am i sadly correct to assume it would end around after this arc is done? because the author is pulling too many endgame plot at once
Too much hair. This arc is dragging it's feet so much, please let the next chapter be one punch so this arc can finally be over.
And the next raw chapter should had been released already... So probably one more week for suspense factor. If u wanna know :v (this will cover the next 2 chaps)
Alice will do the exposition that if Eve can get enough mana, her self-recovery should activate.
However normally after one absorbs mana in the air, it adapts to the body and become 'their mana'.
And receiving someone else's mana would just cause rejection.
So in order to use mana to heal Eve, they'd need to revert it to the more natural state that can be absorbed.
Which she figured that she could do with her transforming equipment thing.
However Alice lacks the mana to fully pull through, and even with Sophia to help it still wasn't enough.
So it's with Cain's extra output that the three will push through
Meanwhile after brawling it out with the king for a bit, Lloyd finally figured out how to destroy the king's mana giant.
Which, follow the example of Alice naming her equipment's different forms, he decided to name this move:
Dragon's Bite/Biting Dragon (though he does it with his hand)
I google tl'd the synopses of both volumes, and volume 2's synopsis is about Sophia going to school in the nearby town, which obviously hasn't happened here yet, so I'm assuming this means this arc was the climax of volume 1.P.s. On the other hand there seem to be only two LN volumes and on the publisher's site there hasn't been another addition since chapter 50 on 8/12 (which isn't available for free yet).
