I like that even if certainly inspired by JRPGs putting aside the "hero's ability" there is no mention of skills, levels, and stats. And there is not status screens popping out everywhere or magical inventories where to store unlimited amount of items. I hate when videogame mechanics, and menus, are added into these kind of manga/anime.

I'll keep watching this, but I was honestly hoping that the protagonist would just keep the murder train going without growing allot of friendships. The reason I say this is because my best experience with the revenge genre has easily been Nidome no Yuusha, which took its revenge seriously. I'm just worried that this protagonist will loos allot of their oomph with time.

Same here.
It always feels so cheap when a character can just pop up a skill screen to show how op he/she is.
And it also feels lazy when a character is strong in a manga because stats.
Since in games all the screens and stats doesnt really exist for the player character, its just information for the player.
