Another interesting gem of a manga.
A really masterpiece in the making.
The story is very flows you.
The focus on the heroine, the protagonist, her thoughts, her changing personality.
The fall from naive and smile girl to dark unkind not forgiving not believing in anyone.
It's like she grow up bad so fast, it's like she met the real dark part of the world, and sinked it fast.
But it really doesn't feel speeded up, or lack of "meat" of as a phase through.
Cause, you can infer it's not the point of the story, everything is still all just an intro.
We don't really know the heroine yet.

Really just 6 chapters, and they all really thought through.
Hateres gonna hate, but this manga is great at least.

This brings a whole new meaning to “hard boiled.”

EDIT— Don’t bother using your brain. This is more a development manga than a tactical one.
Tl;dr, bitch doesn’t use her powers properly to gain strength by killing her enemies. It’s torture big baddie, random helper asspulls, and convenient connections to let her go free and get patched up. She really should’ve died in her sleep by the first assassin.

She learns she can boil water, so boils snow to trap troops in the environment, but doesn’t slap waves of snow to cause a mist or boiling wave of water to blind/hurt/distract her enemies. She knows she gains the power of people she kills, but doesn’t kill anyone more than the general in charge, like a dumbass. She doesn’t bring a weapon to assassinate someone. She doesn’t use the bottle of wine to boil and toss at people. She doesn’t kill the two people chasing the woman so the rest of the estate isn’t alerted. She blindly trusts some random girl and drags her along instead of carrying her, which would be faster. Etc.

Edgey female main character, a rare breed of Edgelords that is sorely underrepresented. Hope someone picks this up eventually

There are a few mangas out there that explore disabilities in a more friendly and inclusive manner. If you’re interested in that kinda I’d story, may I recommend the following two:
  • The Mute Girl and Her New Friend (non-verbal school girl and her friends)
  • Yankee-kun to Hakujou Gaaru (delinquent falling in love with a visually impaired girl)

Also, if you’re into the more classical Shounen approach: Ranking of kings is a wonderful story (anime and manga both great). Main character is deaf and relies on sign language and lip reading.
