Just keeping it 100% thought this wasn't gonna be a particularly exciting or interesting arc. Pretty happily surprised. Bro has me hooked and rooting for Momon. Glad to see some solo action on the demon side. Think I've said this before but it strikes once again THE PREVIOUS SERIES MATTERED and these human demon pairs dont have to be together to show that because the shit that happened and who it happened to MEAN SOMETHING to the characters themselves. This mf was a total coward shill who was shaking during the fudo arc. Now hes solo infultrates an enemy base on some spy shit, bluffs face to face with a direct enemy, bum rushes deeper into the base and rushes an unknown monster. fucking Awesome. All the whiles hes rushing this wild beast hes thinking about WHEN he succeeds how happy it would make his friends. Big fan of that sequence of panels leading up to this panel of him DASHING for the bottles. Locked in and in pursuit.

That should be his notes, where he wrote the information he has gathered. The previous chapter showed that he hid the notes under his clothes on his back.

Man, this series to me is the definition of payoff, i enjoyed Zatch Bell 1 but I wasn't a big fan of some of the comedy or some of the story beats, Zatch Bell 2 elevates everything and makes it all worth, side characters I didn't care about all of the sudden have me on edge of my seat, backstories i generally skip in most mangas have me almost crying, i don't know what this series is doing, but it's hitting all the right spots for me and i wish i could share with everyone else.
i just realized i think this is the only series on this entire website i saved as a 10/10 stars.

This really is the perfect evolution of Momon since his last appearance in KonGa1. Even back then he showed a lot of growth in how he handled himself when it came to others, and now as an adult you can see how far he's truly come. I'm so proud of my boy :')
