True, but I feel you are you are underselling how much he had changed just inherently by end of his arc in Gash Bell. He already reached this point, jumping into fight, caring about others etc in the Faudo Arc, with it starting with him admiring and carrying everyone on his back while they rested to him wooping Rodeaux's butt

This is just the natural growth of something that he had already strived for

Him decided to do the "wrong" thing is also the same as when his final decision of saving sister instead of defeating Rodeaux and the other Mamodo together. Hope this time he won't get a bad ending

Oh I know, I just meant from the perspective that it's also very easy to fall back on bad habits. Whereas Momon now is able to be like this completely of his own volition without the extra motivation of directly knowing his friends were in danger, heck, he wasn't even sure if the other demons had survived (as we found out this chapter,) so he took risks without even knowing if it would even matter. He's still a fearful person, but he's come to let the lessons he's learned back then truly become a part of his character. I
