Great chapter once again. I had laughed at the meeting in the middle of the chapter. And now I'm excited to see what's become of Vino (I think he would be in his childhood years. I think he might only be 10 now in the story), after seeing Dr. Riddles in the end.

I wonder if any of the ancient demons will make a comeback. This is mainly me wanting to see Leila again, but I also want to see that one combo attack she had with Victoreem and Pamoon again.

I'm amazed this is every bit as good, if not better than the original.

It's fine so far. But 2 years later and I feel it's still taking way too long to "get to the point". It's nice seeing all these characters and themes again, but I'd really like a clearer understanding of what Makoto wants to do here.

Just read the chapter and when Vino showed up. I thought Clear Note/White was going to show up. Then I thought it was too early for him to reappear. And then Coral Q Appeared and I couldn't stop laughing for a couple of minutes. I never expected them to show up again, it was very unexpected and nice appearance during the tense battle.

The chapters are twice as long as the were in the original run, so it does take more time to get a new one. As to what the goal for the story is, it's a secret at the moment. In the first series there was an obvious end goal, and the biggest arcs were tangential to that goal. In this, we don't know what the villain's plan is yet, but that's fine.
We're already seeing interesting things being done with the resurrection of demons, and how their wishes are being used to make them do things they don't want to do. I'm honestly excited to see how Makoto uses this to flesh out characters. His strength in writing is with characters and their relationships with one another. Give him time to work. The first series took just shy of 7 years to finish. This is a long journey worth taking.
