Seeing page 4 is enough to know what's going on, and not in a good way

Honestly, this entire first chapter could've been condensed into three pages and we could've spent the other pages also condensing the next 3-5 chapters that we all know are going to go exactly how we all think it'll go.

Really at this point we might as well go speedrunning for World Record if the author is already going to cut some corners to get the tropes done within 30 pages.

I say that because in a story that would be more dedicated to world building and character building, this entire thing would've probably been paced out across 3 chapters. First chapter establishing the main character and initial romance interest and world building, the second chapter setting up the evaluation, ridicule and rising tension. Third chapter the exile, drama and trauma with a clearer idea that the initial romance interest was oblivious because she was so far away she could not witness the evaluation.

So, knowing that the author isn't going the taking your time to properly flesh it out and is already relying heavily on the known tropes to just kinda speed walk through it, we really should've just gone full speedrun any% all glitches allowed.

I've seen this kind of stoiers getting super shortened prologues because readers already know the lciche, is usually worse than a normal prologue, better to "waste" it like this than assuming readers already read a ton of stories following the mold.
