I’m sure that razing a bunch of villages to the ground so thoroughly that not a single trace of it is left is feasibly possible. Using your own example of the black plague, rats being a super spreader of this disease is basically the entire reason it exploded. You could probably have nuked the whole planet and have the virus escape in at least some carriers.

Yeah meant more or less metric wise in terms of both being extremely deadly plagues, not that they are spread in the same way, well aware that there were a lot of contributing factors to the spread of the black plague, and he even said himself that even after razing and culling the population of the kingdom it still spread to some smaller villages.

But looking at it purely practically, in the long term his actions PROBABLY, saved a lot of lives. Clearly didnt wipe the disease of the planet, but culled the spread of it significantly.

I like this plot line with the disease. It's a chance at redemption for Juli's previous life. However, I don't like that she's going after what sounds like a high level monster to gain the cure. I've been enjoying her doing low level adventurer stuff. I can already predict her getting promoted several adventurer ranks as a result of this storyline. I'd actually prefer her to keep her involvement secret. That way, she can keep doing low level stuff; and only have to pitch in against high level threats in an emergency.
