I wish it focused a bit more on MC like this - I feel like so many chapters are focused on the brother. The draw of this series is 'a straight man stuck in a BL world and trying to avoid the flags', not 'a gay man being in a BL relationship'.

I also hope that the MC does stay out of BL relationships, because again, that's the entire plot, and it'd feel kind of silly to then just have him give up and get into one - though that does seem to be the endgame at the moment unfortunately.

I don't think the MC will get with a guy, because the extra is just an "if" after all ( hopefully ) but yeah I agree with you, I really like more chapters to focus on the MC again instead of the little brother, I like Ayato and the gang but it's getting kinda boring

I get what you're saying, but the issue there is that the story is mostly about discussing common BL tropes, and there's only so much you can do with that. In the meantime you still have to focus on characters, and Ayato gang is a way for the author to build a cast of recurring characters while also still manipulating BL tropes (although in this case playing it more straight with fewer twists). Rn the only recurring cast on the MC's side are the fudanshi, and that's about it
