Saintess learned to love betting. I guess her holy kingdom is quite tolerant, even if it hates dungeons.
the tolerancy of the holy kingdom is all over the place, extremely tolerant of some things and vehemently dismissive of others. it's one of the elements of the series that causes me to have confused feelings. from the viewpoint of the rest of this world, they are highly baffling. it'll be a while before the manga reaches that point (ln16), but it's wild. their whole culture is tied to dungeon conquering, and it has some interesting effects on their policies... lets just say that hedonistic nights of revelry are not uncommon even among the preisthood...
on the gambling topic...
by the end of the series, the pope is a problem gambler...
on a separate note: I look forward to our meeting with the
first highpriestess. it's a couple volumes from now, but she is much more of a walking headache than this one.
