So, there's a Ghoul, and there's a parasyte. And the Ghoul could mimic someone based on what they have "tasted" through the tentacle, without actually becoming the host.

His subordinates also dislike the reckless Prince, so even if the Ghouls have successfully killed the Prince and it moves the country to the better, peaceful way, and the subordinates know it, why would they even care?

As they consider, the Ghoul!Prince might be a better substitute compared to the original one.

The original prince had a surprisingly good head on his shoulders in this and the last chapter, a far-cry from his strategy when he was first introduced; the plan to leverage the monster to the enemy civilization immediately upon sussing out the inhuman reflexes, and coordinating a volley of fire at the shadowed monster by using a mirror as a marker, were both pretty nice ways to signal the prince was raised a prince, and isn't just a standard isekai prince with completely 0 IQ
