I can't believe Kikuchi would side with Kusaka - the man who betrayed them, left them to die under fire, almost succeeded in assassinating Kadomatsu and is an unapologetic imperialist. All for what? Tearing apart Mirai from the inside and a gamble at another future? Seems contrived.
