Because he was in a All-boys HIGHSCHOOL (Page 46), and then in COLLEGE (Page 12) he was in the rugby team, different schools, and I think there aren't All-boys colleges in Japan, or not anymore.

Great 1st chapter. I have always wanted to read an apocalypse story where the MC actually wants it to happen because lets be real; people fantasize about this stuff. If only MC was a bit darker without going full edge. But this is looking like a full blown comedy
Liked how the Main girl was dead. Nothing worse than being stuck with a FMC. Its better to see multiple women before MC decides on one to give the illusion that the reader has a choice FMC.
But my guess is she was killed off because she already was the girlfriend of old man and not the usual boring virginal angel FMC.
