@unknownfactor Martial arts doesn't help much versus a lunatic with a gun. ESPECIALLY when even just a minor bullet wound (like in a limb) could potentially be deadly without working hospitals and would at the very least be somewhat disabling for life (happens more often IRL than most people realize).

Hell yeah the Norwegian krone makes a comeback! The single best thing about this chapter, really.

The social commentary is so ham-fisted and in-your-face it's not even funny. If the manga is not back on track by the start of the next arc, I'm dropping it. Though it feels like it's already heading for the axe.

She just got run over? Crap....Anyway I dislike this whole skit, I mean it was deeply ironic for the girl to spout those lines to that fatty when she initially didn’t practice it...
I mean what thoose people decided to do is f’d up to a T but I can understand their sense of grievance and hell the way they reacted could of been better too
But you know what it more looks like the author is trying to shame people and societies outcasts...Like someone strict to the rules to the point of being a joy kill, someone who couldn’t feel appreciated at home so indulges in addictions (namely achohol) to submerge that feeling of inferiority and loneliness, people who lack in knowledge or common sense because of improper teaching and finially people who tried so hard to be part of everything that they surrendered to escapism for various reasons...
It’s like he is trying to force the message that such people are scum of society that will only cause it harm, are no better then criminals and should be dead....Even if the last one dosen’t die it feels proven...
That line of thinking is way too extreme, their deaths were messed up too...Being crushed, being ripped apart and eaten and being beaten to death...(not entirely confirmed tho..)
I mean we have rules for reasons, how are people supposed to give love if they don’t receive it at all? If you took the time to teach instead of berate someone for their faults they could become someone acceptable or even better and plus if you help someone to not give up, maybe then they could eventually do or be something....
Nothing is guaranteed but enforcing that shit world view as the only option for people to be ‘lucky’ is precisely why people can fall into thoose constructed pigeon holes of expectance
Though their just people who get by fine and just want the world to burn so...pfft

Yeah its way too one sided. A lot of people who end up like this got fcked early on. You wouldn't tell a 4-5-6 year old child that gets abused at home to just suck it up and work on himself.
Yet most would gladly tell those very same children now grown into adults the same thing. You get shaped by your experiences and the "be yourself", "think of others" and such just simply don't work when your frame of reference for normalcy is so far from others.
People like that fall behind, funny how the NEET guy even said those exact words... they simply fall behind at some point and since society has set expectations of behavior, sociability one is never given a chance to "catch up" so to speak.
Imagine being stuck with the social skills of a 12 year old at around 18~ (for reasons beyond your control) when you are supposed to start your life. No one is going to give you a chance. There is no environment where you could make up for your lack of experience. At some point if you had too much of a handicapped start at life no matter how much you try you will fail over and over again for seemingly no reason. (No reason that is visible for onlookers at least.)
People just "fall through the cracks" as some like to say. Since this is just accepted, and like in this manga those people are made to be villains without reason, imagine reading this stuff as one of "those people". It breeds resentment like nothing else.

Perhaps I'm just projecting though, sorry if what I wrote is incoherent.

Agreed, at first i like the "two side of the same coin" idea they're selling but in the end the author made those 4 idiots into a generic low tier level villain with no redeeming quality. I dislike it whenever an author is trying to dictate me what to feel so blatantly, you know you can make those 4 clowns into more likable people and the readers would still cheer on the MC and friends, trust your audience more for fuck sake.

I can see where the author is coming with this though, "be a proper member of society, be helpful and selfless, stop thinking about yourself" and all of that crap. Bro it's a manga about someone trying to fulfill his wish at the end of the world, why is this suddenly turning into some generic coming of age drama with zombie plot device. It just doesn't work bro. The MC has over and over again endangered not only himself and others by trying to fulfill his whims and wishes and that bucket list is literally one big middle finger to social norms and collective values, what is this filial piety stuff lmao.

Honestly such a thing has happened and help has a time limit additionally their is cases where someone is waiting for the help to which they put it on the back burner till they are not legally their problem anymore.
They may say that but some people don’t follow it and certain individuals suffer for it, I think Japan and a few other Asian countries are quite infamous for their suicide rate from the severity of it or even their own inferiority from not reaching the mark on societies normal expectations and well turning your back on someone like this is why it goes to show that no one is actually keeping the standard value that all humanity should precess...

It is such a thing like imprisonment from your own success...Being locked away from your own future like people say you to get past that cell door but it is locked and their help is the key to go forward....It’s ironic.

Well the author ‘has a reason’ and it seems to be that those types are that and nothing else, this may be fiction but people can be provoked with that feeling....Like ‘ah it’s right that is so true about them’
if the author been a little more held back...Didn’t do such a thing as they would say their problems and after they but said to be wrong with a bullet point then killed.....I honestly would of not been so disgusted with the authors work at this moment .....if they kept it ambiguous it would of been better...
You are right such people must be feeling terrible right now

No I believe you were straight forward, thank you for your input
Jesus this author turned a good work rather sour...

"pretending to be a zombie by smearing yourself in chicken guts"

I don't think I've ever lost interest in a manga so fast. This arc has been incredibly boring and cliche

9 mill NOK eh, that's not gonna last too long in Norway (or Japan for that matter, two of the most expensive places in the world)
Why do you use NOK TL? I'm dying to know

So they captured a zombie, made him wear Akira's clothes, and gave him dreadlocks. Nice.
Edit: Oh it was makeup. Dope. That works way better.

The Prometheus school of running is at it again. Also it's probably a zombie dressed up like him with the help of the make up girl
