Do thinkers have to eat? I thought Zombie wife only received semen in the early chapters and became "healthier". What if this world develops a society where the living gives thinkers semen in exchange for herding the hordes away
A few chapters back, Spear Maiden/girl tried to feed Takemura human flesh when he was dumped into the zombie pit by the insurrectionist faction. I don't know what makes them smart though, maybe the game tells you

I do wonder if he is sort of a zombie king? Dirty Harry stopped to attack him and just helped his fellower zombie in safety.
I feel like he only attacked him because he bascially was in the way for their revenge.

and zombie girl is back and she looks like she got much smarter.

and was it telepathy in the last panel?

The thinkers know what they are, smart zombiers, but still zombies, if humans are left alone they will survive and rebuild and after the chaos is gone, unite to destroy them.
If they were in fact casually created by zombies eating human brains because some psycho found fun to kill survivors like that they know the terror of humans towards their own kind, imagine towards zombies.

I'd like to know how Tokiko reacts to living humans. Would she pay them any attention? Would she attack them?

Hm, this is going different from the visual novel kusoge now I think. It's been years since I skimmed through it and I'm pretty sure it was a one or the other aspect, either him going with the zombie girl and living that life or going with the humans. I guess it seems like he's going with the humans, but that scene about being rescued by her being a "thinker" was in the zombie route. Guess the author felt like changing thins up now.
Went to refresh my memory and check the WN since I had read it before, and it's the same. This was also the last chapter and left unfinished. The VN probably just decided it was convenient for route splits.
Unless the VN that covers this part (I think it got released as 3 parts?) was before the WN chapter. VNs were 2018 while the WN chapter was 2017.

Wait, was the source material like a VN game with different routes ?

Can't believe he didn't stay with Tokiko a bit before leaving her again :/

Last chapter, Takemura beats the crap out of a baseball player zombie and then crosses a turnstile to meet Skull-Face. They fight to a draw and are interrupted by the baseball zombie who's worried about Skull-Face. Skull-Face stops his fight with Takemura and leaves with him. Takemura goes deeper into the subway to avoid the Thinkers, but gets lost and eventually collapses due to hunger. Tokiko finds him because he's somehow linked to all the zombies. She carries him to the next station concourse where he recovers. He also notices that she's gained a bit of consciousness.

He escapes the subway and sees if everyone else was able to escape into the mountains. He turns around, but is stopped by Mitsuki and convinces him to stay with her. He is welcomed into the human community once again because of what he did for them during the evacuation. Tokiko wakes up in his room, setting up the plot moving forward.
Adding to this, seems like chapter 38 is a 2 year time skip. Though still not sure if we're nearing the end.

Wait so is there no actual continuation of this cause the source material kind of just ends?

The VN lore is all about MC's assuming because there're no scientist subplot like others zombie franchise so we have to take MC's theory as facts.

Iirc, there's no real explanation why MC become "immune or thinker with human personality" it just happened. but about others thinker, MC assumed from what happened in college/university where people keeping zombie for entertainment.

The more they consume human part, The more closer they become "human/ more intelligence" (as in, they gained their personality back, not mindless zombie anymore). but because they were turning into thinker by those people. They gained intense hatred for human. They don't know how to deal with MC so they decided to keep a tab on him.

While Tokiko was eating "human's fluid" and he assumed that, it slowly turn her into thinker. and because it was his fluid. it's kinda make her into his kin(that's why she's kinda attracted to him and always found him when he need it) , similar to vampire, IG ?

Also, The part where she fed MC meat is kinda skullface memory, since it's flashback to where "he" was in university and when those people still alive. the real MC arrived when thinker fight back and already killed them all so It can't be MC flashback. then MC saw his reflection on mirror as skullface so It should be skullface memory.

why did it happened ? Idk, It just happened lmao. but it's kinda showing how MC and tokiko is also thinker and he almost lose himself to skullface's hatred to human. so I just guessing it's how his "zombie side" almost took over him but tokiko come to save him first.

VN has 2 routes, human(FMC) and zombie(tokiko).
If he went with tokiko route, He will leave the subway with tokiko and never come to check FMC group in the mountain and took on the road, become wanderer. driving the car or motorcycle(can't rmb) to trade with others human settlement. then he comment how tokiko become more and more human each day.

Iirc. she also be able to speak a little there(or gesture a little when interacted with him).then he thinking back about FMC and how he regretted a bit that he didn't come to check them but he already decided that they shouldn't live tgt and he's fine being with tokiko.

THE DOCTOR IS GONE, SHE WAS GOOD GIRL AND HER CG ARE HOT AF. SHE WAS RECOVERING FOR STRESS AND PTSD BUT AFTER MC BROKE HER WITH HIS EVIL ACT, AUTHOR DECIDED TO DITCHED HER OFF STORY AND SHE NEVER SHOW UP AGAIN. I got it, she's just side heroine but at least show her a bit in FMC route ;_;

Corpse cant get pregnant...
Not sure about that.

I think, as long as the body functions are working in someway and the situation is ideal, it should be possible to get impregnated even after death.

I mean, for a Woman to get pregnant, she has to be in her ovulation period.
So, say if that Woman dies, during that period and some man had sex with her after that, it is possible for her to be impregnated at that point.
But whether it would be a full term pregnancy or not is unknown (i mean, the fetus would probably continue to grow inside the dead woman, as long as there is nutrition left in the body to support the fetus).

But in the case of a Zombie, most of the time, they are basically brain dead, while their physical body remains the same at the time of the death.
So, if the Zombie Woman is able to provide nutrition to the body some way, it might be possible to get pregnant and maybe even give birth.
But all of this depends on optimal situation (keep in mind, unlike Men who need to produce Sperm in their Testicles, Women have limited number of Eggs in their Ovaries since birth, so as long as they are capable of releasing the stored Eggs even after death, they should be able to get impregnated; i mean medical professionals do harvest Eggs and in some case Sperms from a dead body and store it to be later used for Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) procedures).

Just saying that "getting impregnated" and "pregnancy term" are two different things (primarily because of stuff like miscarriage or IVF).

is this guy an idiot?
  • chapter 1, has perfect zombie waifu, ditches her with no farewell while tied to a chair.
  • chapter 10, accidentally meets again perfect zombie waifu still locked in the room, sends her away (at least this time with a farewell) into the subway.
  • chapter 37, miraculously meets again perfect zombie waifu, saves his life, ditches her again without a farewell?
