Does surprise NTR actually happen? All I ever read is what scan groups happen to pick up, so I don't know what the wider world of JP manga works is like. I feel like catfishing your reading audience is usually a bad move for an author/serialization publisher.

My guess is B, either those half-zombie girls will save Kana or Koutarou himself (but I doubt the MC has the guts to do that, willing to sacrifice himself to save her). Maybe they give plot armor, like Kana got a grip on the edge before falling, and then got powered up by friendship or something lol. With this kind of plot story in manga, there's a chance that they gonna add NTR bait on this (I hope they don't). Also, BASED translator!
