I really hate when people dismiss a piece of media because it handles problematic topics. Can you not tell that the fiction is there and it's meant to provoke thought in you as art? Do you think because something handles a problematic topic, the author and fans of that something stand with it wholeheartedly? Why do you ignore media that could be talking about something important and nuanced simply because it touches on something that makes you uncomfortable? That's the point
