I had a weird dream last night, where some defaultee from my local forum came to my profile and saw that I liked Gal Cleaning, but it turns out they're a Gal Cleaning fan too?? Then they found out I read other manga other than Gal Cleaning and they got really mad?? And tried to frame me for reading Kawaisou na Imouto-chan???? I had to explain why it wasn't true, and then I got so mad that it woke me up??? what??

Sometimes I think manga readers are the worst critics of any medium, and sometimes I'm certain of it. Or maybe we're just too horny, and anything with sexual content gets a perfect 10 after just a few chapters. I don't know.

I can understand giving a manga 1 star after only a few chapters, but a perfect 10? Nope.

Grapara again or just in general? Either way, scores have nothing to do with being critic and you shouldn't consider them relevant. After all, the average score for the Baeian (or however it is written) method that MangaDex uses is 8.

GraPara! never scored well because people were vaccinated against Katsura Airi. But it's more a general feeling about average Erotica manga getting high scores in the first few chapters.

This post was motivated by Deliheal Yondara Moto Doukyuusei ga Kita, which has a 8.57 rating. By chapter 6, the MC is raped by his former teacher who was interested in him when he was a minor, aka a pedophile. Sure, it's a serialization of a hentai, but the original had no rape.

Well, you could say 10 = like (or hot) and 1 = dislike, so unless they're really against a series they're not going to bother with even finishing the chapter. It's not a secret that many who read erotica/mature do it just out of horniness, so when it's not up to their tastes/standards they throw low scores or even report it. What do we have here? A female character that looks like a MILF but it's just 20, plus it's a call girl (you know the drill of Kanokari) and there's a motivation for the horny readers to say "get her!". Finally, the cover shows big breasts.
