im glad the glasses are back for the princess lol. I still think it should be her permanent look. It just fits her character better

Seeds of rebellion never stop being sowed no matter how great a ruler you are. Your opposition will always try to weaken you, whether they be a foreign power, an ambitious individual or an organization. It will never end.
A good ruler is able to sniff these seeds out and prevent them from taking root without the major populace finding out.

Rebellion can be thought of as a natural force, and as you say it is indeed ever-present, but its strength is very much dependent on how you rule and, more specifically, who you reward. It doesn't have to be a serious threat to your position just because it exists, if you govern astutely.

Napoleon isn't a good example lol, although I acknowledge his military prowess (his ideas were quite absurd; it was more of a Caesarist regime than a monarchy). Frederick the Great would be a better example, or, since he was feudal (more or less), Louis the Saint (medieval king of France).
