Plot twist: The original is not evil but got demonized by rivals.
That's actually what happened iirc.

The "Hero" rewrote history so much and penned MC as the villain in books and records. Stole MC's fiancee by pretending he was the childhood friend. The "Hero" was so pathetic and jealous of MC which is why he NTR'd everything (the country, his reputation, and Lisbeth) away from him in his previous life.

You know, I like this one. I was kinda getting board of seeing the max being from the tea world and using the fiction and modern day science to fix his problem but that fact is that he is from this world about in the future, and he’s relaying on what he was taught in history to say alive. It’s kinda refreshing.

Not a bad read. I'm interested so far. Artwork is pretty good. Premise is entertaining.

They finally just cut out the isekai part and made it time travel-reincarnation. Honestly, this works way better.

"If I marry her, I'll be killed!"
So you'll be marrying her, thanks for confirming.

That unnamed guard is kinda goated for quickly opening the door drawing the bow and shooting so quickly

Ah, yes, goth = evil. Of course. Wouldn't want to avoid dipping on unfounded harmful stereotypes, now, would we?

For a past-life villager he's very sly, stoical and literate. Somehow he's a natural at behaving like someone of royal blood.
And just how accurate and detailed can an epic poem be to serve as a reliable source?

Aye, I was also thinking making him a regular villager might have been haphazard. However, I don't believe he was entirely honest when he called himself just an average villager. In the first place, the flashback image wasn't a village road, it was, in fact, more like a city street. He was dressed pretty decently, carrying a paper, so I doubt his job was cleaning stables. He might have worked with something related to books/newspapers, which would place a whole lot of information in his hands. It's 300 years into the future, so if this happens to be a fantasy world where time is not frozen, 300 years would be like 16th century compared to the 19th century. A world of difference in a person's ability to gain information!
