I think Remillia's brother (Claude) has kinda broken out of the trance but doesn't want to openly antagonize Pina.

He seems to have realized that the prince (Will) probably exiled her due to his own feelings of hate or jealousy towards her and not just because he was under Pina's emotional control.

Probably why he said he's glad the prince broke their engagement since he'd probably be a horrible husband and king.
