Couldn't keep up...

This mangá is really bad, and it doesn't help that the majority of it is unreadable.

I thought it would be about the Mc moving on after being rejected so many times, and then the Girl would realize she actually loves him and would try to win him over again and bla bla bla. But no, I only got a stupid Mc that still treats her like a God even though she literally abuses him verbally & physically. A bitch of an heroine, that was supposed to be a Tsundere but lacks all the good features of one. And a horrible set of secondary character's that are awful to the Mc for basically no reason.

After 18 chapters I couldn't bring myself to read it anymore. The chapters had nothing interesting going on, most of the dialogues didn't made any sense, and every time the Heroine appeared on my screen I would get angry. I jumped straight to the last chapter to see how the fuck the author would make the 2 of them end up together, and I was welcomed with a "fuck you" in the face, cause it has a open ending.

Thank God I didn't read it all. Just waisted my time reading those 18 chapters (probably 30 because it has 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, etc...) for a whole lot of fucking nothing. Its incredible how such cool concept can be totally wasted on the wrong hands...

I have it give it to them, this shit is deplorable. Introducing new characters every few chapters who pretty much just dip after their small interactions because you can't write for fucks, with the plotline going no where, characters are more shallow then a hentai could do. This is ass. From start to end I struggle to understand wtf is going on, and that's not to mention the MTL. In short, a 1/10.

Ok, so, in my opinion, this manga had a lot of potential, it had a cool concept, a non-bland MC and cute heroines, but the execution was pretty bad. Honestly, at times it felt really annoying to read this manga, mostly because of the FMC being an exaggerated tsundere and because the MC kept simping over her, no matter what she did. But, what really annoyed me, was the fact the manga constantly set up climaxes, which all either quickly and easily were resolved or were just non-existent. I honestly had hope that this was all made deliberately for a bigger climax, but no, that big climax from the MC constantly being treated like shit by so many characters never happened, he just accepted it all and it suddenly got resolved, even if no one acknowledged the problem in the first place.
In conclusion, the manga is mid, and often annoying, it had cool traits, but it shot itself in the foot because of the execution.
(Also, this is my first time doing a review, i'm obviously not going to be good at it, and apologies for my english, it's not my primary language, i don't know if that will affect your understanding of my text).

reading synopsis
huh, that sounds like a pretty average romcom setup that could be effective if executed well
looks down to see harem tag
I take back all that I said
Weirdly enough, it's not actually harem, no other character other than the FMC expresses love for the MC

Do you know a manga with that premise? About moving and the first one falling in love, seems interesting.

I really wish i knew. The only one that I can think about is Jitsu wa Watashi wa. He does get reject, move on, and the girl fall in love with him after that. But its not the main plot.

Read untill like chapter 16 and then skipped to the end. I missed nothing. The manga doesn’t even have a true ending, fmc just hugs him and then there’s a time-skip through a school festival and THE END.

But the worst thing about this disaster of a story is it’s characters. There’s basically one braincell that all the characters share and all of them are carboard cut-outs of basic clichés you’ve seen a billion times.

Character development? Nah. There’s one moment where the “rude older sister” character appologises to mc for being so rude to him (she wasn’t - I’ll get to that later), and promises to be nicer. What does the mc do? He basically tells her “NO”. The mc rejects the only attempt at character development. (I’m not counting the “shy, affraid of men girl” because that happens off-screen and for no apparent reason) Either way, none of the supporting cast are influential to the story in any way.

Some people are complaining about the fmc rejecting the mc and then regretting it, but I feel like she’s more of a victim. Except the mangaka is braindead and fails to realise that the story is not about highschooler’s love story, but unconscious abuse from the MC.

The biggest piece of shit in this work is the mc. He’s unconsciously using the manipulation tactic of lovebombing, and the manga is looking at it from HIS perspective like she’s acting cold to him for refusing is harassment… Then he suddenly stops with this treatment, bit by this point she’s already used to it -> making her feel like she’s at fault -> another basic form of manipulation.

He’s shown that he can understand basic laws of human relationship -> when he stops talking to fmc, she’ll be more approachable and will have more friends (meaning he knew that and still harassed her - such gentleman). But he’s sef-deprecating to the highest degree, making everybody around him feel like an asshole. Example: Fmc tells him that she’s not gonna let him near her sister (obviously as a joke, she even came to him to ask him to come), and he’s just like “I know right?” and fucks off. Leaving her standing there and everyone around including herself sees her as the asshole.

Tldr.: Supporting cast is clichéd and unimportant. MC is a harasser, manipulator and a monumental asshole, FMC is a victim and this is not a lovestory, but a story of abuse.

Amazing how it started out as a solid 8/10, and dropped to a 2/10... MC doesn't have an ounce of self-love, the premise would be for him to let go of FMC, but he doesn't stop idolizing her, instead of simply moving on... ANY other girl seems more interesting than FMC, even his sister.

Jesus, I have never seen a worse translation in my life. I can barely understand what some of it says but then there was like two chapters where it was genuinely just undecipherable fucking nonsense

whats funny is this would PROBABLY be a pretty decent romance manga if they just made the mc less of a moron and if it WASNT A DAMN HAREM, and yet, it is.

That's it? Seriously not even a satisfying conclusion? Started off good but man does it get repetitive and annoying after the halfway mark. If not for the sister and adachi I would have stopped a long time ago

Well if you're looking for rom-com with a satisfying conclusion this ain't the manga for you.
To summarize the FML, she gives a face to the old saying "you don't know what you had until you lost it".
MC's family are toxic, and even worse in the LN from what I understand, doing a horrible number on MC's selfesteem.
MC is kind of an interesting personality, albeit with some irritating traits.
One of the interesting things in the story that MC never realizes is that when he has his revelation and steps away from being the creepy stalking lovestruck fanboy clown that everybody known for the past 2.5 years and creates distance and feigned indifference towards his loveinterest, is that others suddenly sees value in him and his advice. Although he doesn't realise fully, he he has a knack for listening to others and advice them on how to solve their problems or lift them up.
The part-time job arc with his bookworm-classmate and her big-brother issues is a really good example of this.
I feel the last volumes of the manga with the cultural festival arc feels a bit compressed, characters that's been an integral part of the story suddenly disappears, for example the girls from the "Disciplinary council" disappears completely even though they rooted for him to join them at the beginning of the Culture festival arc.
Romance wise I would say that except for FML and her best friend any of the other "main" girls (not counting MC's sister) deserves to get together with the MC, even the "not-college-student" girl.
However personally I would root for the bookworm-classmate girl.

Still somehow even worse than that harem "comedy" anime where the mc gets [redacted] by a pack of dogs the first episode.
