Can't really support the vampires in the dustbox, despite agreeing that they're in a shitty position. The vampire society seems to have been shaped by a main constraint: they can't feed freely on humans, else they fear humans will destroy them. They remain hidden because the humans they feed on see it as a partnership, so they don't publicize their existence or turn on them.
To that end, the "free" vampires have set strict controls on themselves. They don't seem to reproduce much, and they improve themselves to be fitting "partners". The vampires in the dustbox however have done the opposite despite having even fewer resources. They kidnap and feed on humans without giving anything back, murdering innocents to sustain themselves, and seem fairly irresponsible about having children. This would require more food, meaning killing more humans.
The lumberjacks helping them are probably part of the third faction we haven't seen much of so far. The dustbox vamps are being used as tools for forcing the change they want. Once the number of dustbox vampires increases, and the depredation on humanity can no longer be hidden, vampire society will have no other choice but to go to war with humanity.
