It feels so weird to think of the ninjas as people with lives and all in the same family.
Because they are, and were living lives already. But at the same time, Satoko IS their sister, and someone who is their junior, but thanks to her mistake they just decide that killing her or torturing her before killing her is the only logical thing to do (or maybe there's someone else who would kill them if they report that they couldn't), and that because she killed the family who wasn't "a fuck-up" they have even extra reasons to do whatever they wish with her.
But they continue to establish that, at least among the lower rank of the successfully graduated ninjas, they hold each other dearly, by saying they'll do something to Satoko and add something like "because you did such a thing to my sister(s)". It really makes me feel really disoriented at times, specially with the wack sense of normalcy of Satoko and Honoka both.
