While not my trope, I've never understood the utter stupidity of this cliché. Oh sure I understand the concept of hazing the newbies, and the protagonist curse is a thing. But I've seen this event used on everything from literal children to visually grizzled veteran mercs.

and in almost every case there is a strick policy against fighting in the guild which causes the guildmaster to someone to restore order and dole out punishment detail.... it's just sush a dull and mindless trope, and I hate it. It just sets the tone for the MC to be continuously harassed for stupid reasons.

I really really do not want to see this level of brain damage for more than other 10 chapters.
I don't wish it either to everyone else even to the person i hate, but we all know, everybody knows, that this troupe is in checklist of cliche-ness this genre has. It must long and excruciating. The shortest i ever encountered is from:

https://mangadex.org/title/027de3a2...uritsu-ga-hikui-to-pawahara-suru?tab=chapters. The MC is in progress for realizing he is strong in less than 18 ch

I think with other mangas like this. The author/ studio behind the manga is trying to recapture the value of the classic op mc shock gag. Like in classic dragonball where everyone's eyes were popping out of their heads of how one weird kid with a monkey tail can effortlessly beat up a dinosaur or be unfazed by bullets.

Sadly a lot of authors/manga studios do this in a very lazy way, and of course it's oversaturation in other manga over the years make people sick of it at times.
