I think I realised what the author is trying to to do. He's trying to make the main villain (honestly guys so forgettable I'm not even bothered to remember his name) some sort of Johan liebert untouchable aura type characters.

See the reason the main bad guy is so sub par is not because he's an op evil genius that's thinking 5 moves ahead.

It's because so far he hasn't actually done anything worth making us feel scared of. Sure there's the murders and whatever this is. But we don't have a real reason shun hasn't just killed him he hasn't shown himself to be someone with an untouchable aura like Johan, hasn't manipulated anyone in front of us hasn't calculated shuns moves hell he doesn't even have a good reason for anything. He hasn't even really done anything he's simply boring

The only reason the mc hasn't killed him is plot armour

Okay I'm gonna give credit where it's due, homie had to have been in knots over killing that cop and to watch another cop get thwomped was probably pretty nuts for him, so I'll give the author props for setting the apology up. Execution was goofy AF but I'm glad it happened.

Writing is bad, character designs are bad and none of the chapters are worth a second, but since I started this I feel like I should finish it
