This manga has no idea what it is trying to be. 90% of what this guy has said has been lectures and the other 10% has been him going "YUM" after drinking a beer. No, I really don't give a shit about his previous failed relationship and how it didn't work because of blah blah blah blah. I have no clue why the mangaka thinks that I would.

[Read Up until ch.46] Okay, so the reason why he chose to go solo-camping instead of going to his girlfriend's play at the time was because...

...it was the anniversary of his father's death, and it always has been a tradition for him to go camping on this date and he can't miss it.

Call me unreasonable and/or an a-hole for saying this, but I think postponing that tradition to any other day would be a much wiser and logical decision than skipping your girlfriend's unpostponeable play, who reallyyyyyy wanted you to be there.

You know what, good for the girlfriend for breaking up with him and continued to pursue her dream. I understand she said ALOT of hurtful stuff about his hobby out of anger over what happened (she didn't even know it was due to the death anniv) and she regretted saying it but... kinda deserved tbh. If I skipped my wife's piano recital because I prioritized my yearly tradition of watching the entire Lord of the Ring Trilogy and she got M A D over it, thats entirely my fault lmao.

But NOPE, he just... didn't show up ¯⁠\⁠⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠⁠/⁠¯ His girlfriend on stage at the time was looking at an empty seat where he was supposed to sit in and iirc she looked sad/disappointed in 1 frame.
