Nah, Remilia and Emi are separate people. Remilia has always had a sociopathic streak to her while Emi is genuinely nice person, Remilia just happens to love Emi and doesn't want to disappoint her. I covered this a BUNCH of chapters ago, but Remilia decided that just getting her revenge for their mistreatment of Emi wasn't enough, she had to live a life that Emi would be proud of all the while looking for ways to bring her back.

Huh, that actually is a good question. What did happen to the original star maiden? We see how Remelia was still around, watching everything Emi was doing. So the og star maiden was probably doing the save thing too, watching her be absolutely vile against her wishes. I can totally see Remelia somehow bringing back the original maiden to the front, allowing her to live a good life.

What would be an even greater revenge than showing her just how good her life could have been if she didn't "stoop so low to discredit some decent people"
