On the one hand, the ending not having anything to do with cosplay certainly feels weird. On the other hand, I think there is something nice having such a simple, straightforward final chapter.

While the ending is good i really cant say i love how it end... Yes, the last chapter is really good as the last chapter but how it was end after that build up in the "princess arc" and the "misunderstanding arc" was like a delicious fruit with a really bad aftertaste...

I can’t believe we don’t even get to see the hina dolls he made. Why were they unconventional? Did he make cosplay hina dolls? I guess it’s nice he’s on tv, but i feel like he got done dirty just a little bit.

It started as romance, then author dived too deep into the cosplay-making thing to focus again in the romance part and lost steam to continue.

It was good at first, but also a disappointment at the same time. Thank you author, but you could've done better regarding what to focus and what brought people to read your work.

that was outanowhere rushed ending, but considering mangaka health has been declining for last few years, i thinks it's for the best. she has been lamenting a lot in the last few volume extras about it. pretty wholesome enings all things considered.
the series too focused on cosplay stuff (which not my thing) and some questionable drama with messy pacing has been my issue. but it has solid characters and relationship with good development. the series also lack of impact, felt playing too safe so it doesn't left me with long lasting impression. i still enjoy reading it throughout the years. 8/10. enjoy the journey, not gonna miss it tho.
