Even while being some flavour of queer we should all be able to say "love you" to our friends because fuck it let's be positive and express affection in non-romantic ways regardless of gender and not try to not be "too affectionate" because it would be "weird" like fuck that shit let's show our appreciation for people around us properly.

I don't even think this manga is ready for a romance yet, there's just one guy who has said he wants to ask Ruri out and we don't know the dude as a character at all, I don't care whatever way Ruri goes, let our poor girl figure her life out first she has plenty to deal with the dragon shenanigans.

Funny enough, I said just that in the early chapters when they reveal dragon has 9 traits or something and she started to gain more traits with combat potentials (electric, I think) that, if ever axe-kun was looming, this series can veer off to become a combat manga in an attempt to escape it.

But as things are, we probably are safe from that timeline already.
