Why does every childhood promise have to be an ironclad contract till the day you die in manga? I get it, sadly. The story would end abruptly but it's not remotely believable. Maybe I just want a creative way to keep the MC and FMC away from each other when everyone knows their feelings for one another (except themselves for story reasons).

With how thick the ring is, too, you'd think it'd be crazy uncomfortable. I get why it worked it written form, but as soon as you draw that thing, it becomes really obvious that you wouldn't want to wear it on your finger, much less have it digging into your throat.

Looks like the future will be messy for Himari - karma really works in mysterious ways.

And looks like the upcoming anime adaptation might just overtake the pacing of the manga adaptation given how few the chapters currently still are. Publishers really like to make anime adaptations for their novels these past years.
