Mochi-son-ki 8D; i know caffeine popular for a quick boost but other than right when you wake up and having a hot drink, i feel like it just makes me sleepy, but wake up more the next day lol. I can't imagine how 'potent' the five hour energy things are considering how tiny the shots are, i don't think i could handle it every day stomach wise or calorie wise since i can't have it plain and bitter/black

I used to work at a theme park where we roasted our own beans. The vapors were literally heaven.

I hope you got a good discount/able to take leftovers, that sounds nice

Glad that they're including him but given how antsy he was i would've done it like halfway before inviting him or having a separate thing or so/already have a cup for him on stand by XD;

Ah, hopefully a new team can pick it up after this team's last

accidental coffee torture

Should be a band name/song 8D;

I have heard that before... If you get freshly roasted coffee beans, you should wait 2-4 days to use them to give the CO2 time to disperse, otherwise it can make the coffee taste overly acidic.

"Next chapter will be my last"

Noooo! I love this series so much, but ever since White Cat/BBQ When closed up, this just keeps getting passed around because new groups come and go. I keep hoping that each new group that takes over will want to stick it out for a while but most only seem to pump out a few chapters in a couple months and then bail.

I get it too. I may be a coffee guy, but I don't have the patience to slowly roast beans. Making the coffee is already a process as it is. Give me pregrounded any day.

I get liking coffee, but for me, it's up there with wine in terms of pretentious enthusiasts. At least with coffee you can prepare it differently. I maintain the beans don't matter, though. I'll pass on $70 lemur shit.

Making your own tools is good and all when you have the proper tools to make tools. Otherwise hacky means yield hacky products, and is a waste of time, money, brainpower and good green beans most of the time. Been there, done that.
Also defeats the purpose of doing home roasts when the roasting experience is addled with too much hassle to be enjoyable.

That's like saying that Kraft Singles is as legit of a cheese as an actual wheel of cheese, it's dumb. Like I get settling with bottom shelf preground stuff. Shit, I do it too. But actually believing that "the beans don't matter" means either you've never had a single good coffee in your life or just willfully ignorant to the matter entirely.
