There’s a lot here but i need to point out the time difference. 100 years down below is 3000 years on the surface. So if they’ve been in the 6th layer for a day, it’s already been a month up above. If they’ve been for 2 weeks, it’s already been a year.

and that’s only layer 6. Layer 7 is probably exponentially more. I’m guessing at least 100 times faster than the surface.

I’m not sure how long this journey has actually been but I see an epilogue where they make it to the surface in time to see that their friends from the orphanage are all old men. Or one of them becomes a white whistle and comes down to meet them.
If Layer 7 is going to be exponential, then you're probably looking at centuries between the time they entered and the current moment.

That said, I'm not sure if they can return unless some Deus ex machina makes them immune to the curse. It's been established repeatedly that they're so deep that returning is lethal, except for Reg, who is likely an artifact himself.

So with the time dilation shenanigans, and it being difficult (or past a certain point, impossible) to leave, the pit certainly sounds like some sort of fantasy black hole.
Definitely some real astrophysics inspiration, like Interstellar movie

All things considered t\his ch\apter was oddly wholesome. Like, have we ever gotten so many fluff ball Faputa shots in one chapter before?

lol no way the friends in the orphanage are still remotely alive by the end of the story, and I'm quite sure MiA wouldn't come up with such a mundane plot of having to let them meet again no matter what. If ever we see them again in any form, it will most likely be some tombstones from centuries ago wouldn't it.

Thank god Nanachi is relatively ok now... I had no doubt she'd be treated, but I'm glad it wasn't something incredibly traumatic like when Riko got poisoned. Also hell yeah, the 8 month wait begins again...

why does the author need to include pedo bulges and pedo nudity? he could just write a fantasy manga. he'd only need to tone it down just a little to make a manga that people could recommend without feeling like they're going to be judged.
Why does the author have to cater to the reader. It's their story to tell. We the readers, are just along for the ride. If the content bothers you then just stop reading.

Now i'm actually wondering if one of them will become a white whistle and meet them at the bottom, decades later for them, but only a few months since riko and the gang left them behind
