I like the villainess trope mainly cause it make a strong female character(go read the one with the villainess). Here it's only a passive personage. One of the worst of the 10 volumes

Well that was a psycho heroine even in terms of villainess stories. At this point I tire of the "the heroine is evil/wicked" trope. While it doesn't matter with these anthology stories, could we get a decent heroine for once in a villainess story. Must they always be reincarnated bitches or servants of evil or spies for the enemy? Must they always use mind controlling drugs/powers to enforce the plot?

The "villainess's" motivation being rooted in more than just "I don't want to die from following the plot" could have been expanded on. And tbh I think that could have been the main driving force instead, if this weren't a villainess story.

Anyways this might have been my second favorite volume in this anthology. It's hard to beat the first, but given genre saturation, this volume was relatively unique

Look i was already traumatized by the one OI where she told the guy everything and his solution was to gouge out her eyes, cut out her tongue, and lock her in the dungeon so she could never speak such insane heresy again. Be happy with your own shock while you still have it
